Tehran's Symbol

Azadi (=liberty) Arc was constructed in 1960s to memorize Shah - the King of Iran. The original name was Shahyad (in memory of Shah). After the revolution, it was renamed as Azadi. Now, Azadi is a symbol for the 14 million populated city of Tehran.

I took this photo last August when I visited Iran.
